23 of Abingdon died at 9:30 am Monday, November 10, 2008 at home. Kyle was born on February 19, 1985 in Galesburg, IL to Howard and Linda Nuckles Welsh. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Dave Ryan of Abingdon; his maternal grandmother, Audrey Nuckles of Abingdon and paternal grandparents, Gene and Joyce George of Live Oak, FL; his brothers, Barry Welsh of Bloomington, IL and Dustin (and Janice) Welsh of Roseville, IL; two nephews, Dakota and Devin Welsh, a niece, Demi Welsh; his aunts, Sue Trulock of Galesburg, Lynne (and Gene) Skinner of Galesburg and Karen (and David, Sr) Gaylord of Williston, FL; his uncle, Jay (and Brandy) George of Live Oak, FL; his cousins, Jeremy Trulock, Jason Hahn, Matt Skinner, Gina Skinner, Josh and Hanna George, David Gaylord, Jr., and Kera Gaylord; two stepbrothers, Steve (and Chris) Ryan and children, Stephanie and Stephen of Algonquin, IL and Brett Ryan and children, Tanner and Kolby of Knoxville; a stepsister, Rachel (and Ryan) Potts and children, Jack and Gracie of Elmwood. He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandfather, Robert Nuckles, his paternal grandparents Arthur and Martha Welsh, two uncles, Rich Trulock and Daniel Welsh. Kyle graduated from Abingdon High School in 2003. He was gifted in his ability with computers and electronics and had worked on the Geek Squad at Best Buy while living in Florida. After returning to Abingdon he was employed by Conley Construction. He was a member of the Abingdon Christian Church. Kyle also had a love of music and working on cars. He lived life to the fullest and he loved his family and friends very much. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Abingdon Christian Church, 409 S. Main St. Rev. Jerald Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Memorials may be made to Abingdon Public Schools Foundation.
