Larry D. Kidwell

Larry D. Kidwell, 80, of 1152 130th St., Berwick, died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born June 3, 1942, in Galesburg, the son of Bert and Retta Kidwell.

He is survived by a son, Barton J. Kidwell of Monmouth; a daughter, Julie (Steve) Vanskike of Berwick; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, Casey D. Kidwell.

Larry was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Cremation will be accorded.  No visitation or service is planned at this time.  A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America and can be mailed to the funeral home or his daughter, Julie, at the same address as his.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Abingdon is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
