59, of 109 W. Monmouth St., Abingdon, IL died at 10:11 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She was born on July 13, 1944 in Peoria County to Richard and Marie Cozad Burton. She married Charles L. Pulliam on October 1, 1963 in Abingdon. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Tina M. Pulliam of Abingdon; two sons, Jeffrey (and Kim) Pulliam of McHenry, IL and Thomas (and Tonya) Pulliam of Abingdon; a sister, Sandra Kay (and Homer, Jr.) Schisler of Mt. Morris, MI; a brother, Timothy (and Mary) Burton of Swartz Creek, MI and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. She had lived in Abingdon most all of her life and graduated from Abingdon High School in 1962. She later graduated from Carl Sandburg College in 1982. She was an L.P.N. and worked at the Care Center of Abingdon since 1982. She was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ. She was a member of the Jr. Women's Club and was a member and past president of the Business & Professional Women's Club. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
