Lois E. Brienzo

75 of Galesburg died at 5:50 am Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg She was born April 7, 1930 in Fulton County near Avon to Harlan and Bernice Rood Jones. She married James Brienzo in 1967 in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1998. Surviving are one brother, Robert O. (and Lois) Jones of Berwick; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She had lived in Germany, New York, California and most of her life in Chicago where she worked as a bookkeeper for the Candle Corp. retiring in 1999. She moved to Galesburg in 2000. Graveside service 11:00 am Saturday at Berwick Cemetery. Eleanor Landon will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am Saturday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel.
