Louis L. Fegan, Sr.

74 of St. Augustine died at 10:15 am Monday, July 4, 2005 at the Care Center of Abingdon. He was born March 14, 1931 in Abingdon to Louis C. and Fern Esther Blevins Fegan. He married JoAnn Jacobs on September 24, 1951 in Carthage. Surviving are three sons, Roger (and wife Kerry) Fegan of Fayetteville, NC, Rodney (and wife April) Fegan of Avon and Louis Fegan, Jr. of Monmouth; two daughters, Ann (and husband Jerry) Admire of Fountain Inn, SC and Jane (and husband Davie) Powell of Ellisville; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Patrick Fegan and one sister. He had lived in the Abingdon and St. Augustine areas all hi life. He was a mechanic and welder. Cremation will be accorded. Graveside service will be at 10:00 am Saturday at the Abingdon Cemetery. Rev. Danny Hunt will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
