M. Virginia "Ginny" Hermie

of Abingdon passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28 at St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, at 6:10 am. She was surrounded by loving family. Ginny was born February 1, 1931, west of Abingdon in Indian Point Township, the daughter of Lester and Ina Knight Williams. She married Murray Parker in 1947. They divorced. She later married Vernon Hermie January 3, 1973, in Galesburg. She is survived by two sisters, Ruby Mott and Carol and Sid Lewis of Abingdon; three nephews, Russ Ray of Galesburg, Randy Ray of Little York, Scott Lewis of Galesburg; and two nieces, Nicki Stranger, and Rhonda é
