Margaret Ileen Boydstun Johnson

80 of 16221 S. Santa Rita Road, Sahuarita, AZ formerly of St. Augustine, IL died at 3:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2005 at her home. She was born March 15, 1925 in Galesburg, the daughter of Ray H. and Ida Louise Marks Boydstun. She married Gerald Harlan Johnson on June 2, 1946 at the family farm south of Abingdon near St. Augustine. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Gerald H. "Lanny" (and wife Linda) Johnson, Jr. of Edgar, AZ, Randy L. (and wife Jere Ann) Johnson and Neil R. (and wife Sallie) Johnson all of Sahuarita; one daughter, Peggy L. Judd of Sahuarita; two brothers, William R. (and wife Libby) Boydstun of Galesburg and Wayne E. (and wife Marilyn) Boydstun of RR St. Augustine; 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. She graduated from Abingdon High School in 1943 and then attended Houston State Texas College, Houston, TX. She was a member of the Abingdon Christian Church. She and her family moved to Tucson, AZ in 1956 due to health reasons. Graveside services were held Monday, May 23, 2005 at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of local announcements.
