Millie Hoadley

74 of 304 W. South St. died at 6:48 pm Thursday, November 17, 2005 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. She was born February 22, 1931 in Monmouth, IL to Levi Henry and Iva Mae Brown Shinn. She married Donald R. Hoadley on April 19, 1952 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Rick Hoadley, three brothers and one sister. Surviving are one daughter, Kathie (and Mike) Tinkham of Abingdon; one son, Gary (and Linda) Hoadley of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1949 and attended Cottage Hospital School of Nursing. She was a homemaker and had lived in Galesburg and Abingdon most of her life. She was a member of the Abingdon Christian Church. She enjoyed reading and collecting figurines. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Rev. Raymond McLaren will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 é
