Grew up on Mulberry Street with Devora and went with her to Allen Park School. So sorry to learn of her passing. Sympathy and prayers to her family.

I never knew DeVora until I married my husband Larry. His friendship with her began long before I came into the picture. But once I met her, she of course became a beloved and trusted friend. When Lar and I were surprised by becoming "older" parents, it was DeVee that became our son's Godmother. His name was Devlin. All of his short life he referred to her as "Aunt Deev" We lost Dev in the summer of 2020. Now Deev and Dev are having a lot of fun up there in the clouds thinking about food and all of their doggie friends. Deev always told me that I made a homemade coconut cream pie that could rival her Daddy's. I made them for her until it was simply not healthy for her to eat such a thing, but she never forgot. Deev was very strong in her faith, always. Therefore, we are comforted in knowing that she is no longer suffering in this earthly realm and that Jesus has wrapped his loving arms around her and taken her home.

What a wonderful funny sincere woman. I met Devora at the phone company in operative services. I believe she had a niece Monique who was beautiful and was working same time as I.
The Lord welcomes a true sister in him.

We were lucky enough to have met DV through a mutual friend years ago. She was kind and loving & it was always great fun to see her. May you all find comfort and peace during this difficult time knowing she was loved by many, and will be truly missed.
