Mr. David Michael Poplett

David Michael “Pop” Poplett, 51, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Marigold Heath Care Center.

David was born April 19 of 1972 in Galesburg, the son of Theodore and Judith (Magee) Poplett.

He is survived by his daughter, Genesis, of Dallas Texas; three sons, Trustin of Galesburg, Treyson of Santa Barbara, California, and Grant of Mount Pleasant, Iowa; his siblings, Lisa (Dave) Munson, Ronda (Ron) Spicher, Cory (Carrie) Poplett, all of Galesburg, and Vicky Neal of Texas. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Darcie Bramlett of Galesburg, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ronald Quinn Jr.

David was an avid Chicago Cubs and 49ers fan. He loved to cook and ride his motorcycles in his free time. But most importantly, David loved spending time with the people he loved the most and his beloved cats.
