Gary was one of the great young adults involved in Town & Country Singles Club (former Knox County Rural Youth). He was well liked so we enjoyed his company, his smiles and his quick laugh. Gary supported most of the monthly planning meetings and signing the monthly activity newsletter at the Farm Bureau. There are good memories of Gary being present at activities such as playing pool and tennis, square dancing as well as volleyball. Also, there were the group conversations around the bonfires and nearby hay rack during autumn hog dog roasts. Fun was had by all when we finished activities with eating together at a restaurant. Gary, Fred S. and Paul B. shared their birthdays with our club parties at Happy Joe’s. Most of us came together for the second shift of bowling with the Freelancers league at Northgate Lanes. From our club activities, Gary became a friend with some friendships lasting throughout his life. We cared about Gary even if our paths rarely crossed during the busyness of our lives. Gary was responsible and hard-working through his challenges in life. Gary and his wife Sheryl were a good team together in their marriage. With utmost respect, my condolences to his wife Sheryl and his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Gary's passing and know that his absence will leave a huge hole in your heart. What a sweet, kind and genuine man who so clearly loved his family with his whole being. Keeping you all in my prayers and hope you're comforted by the fact that you have the hope of seeing Gary again one day in heaven.
