After my father and my mother, the next influential person in my life was Uncle Gayle. All three of my uncles brought joy, and Gayle was the leader. He taught me foundational aspects of horsemanship, the importance of living life by working hard, expanding talents. and living modestly. Add in what it feels like to ride as a passenger on a motorcycle, and helping family. During one visit in the 90's he could hardly wait to show me his ErCoupe. At that time the vintage plane had canvas wings. Include taking over navigation of a small plane to the list of experiences. HIs sister, Joyce, my mom, and I enjoyed meeting Gayle and Pat in Rock Falls for lunch to celebrate birthdays. We will always remember your vibrant and caring life, Gayle!
With fond remembrance forever,
Your niece,
