Mr. John W. Lannholm

Mr. John W. Lannholm, 80, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 10:06 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Hawthorn Inn in Galesburg.

He was born February 1, 1945, in Galesburg to John E. and Shirley (Hubbard) Lannholm.

Surviving is a brother, Robert W. Lannholm of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger A. Lannholm.

John graduated from Galesburg High School in 1963. He worked in the printing department for the Galesburg Post for over 30 years. He retired in January of 1997. He was a member of the former Emmanual United Methodist Church in Galesburg. When he was younger, he was a Cub Scout and later a Boy Scout. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.

As John requested, Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Chaplain Jordan Knight will officiate. Memorials may be made to Thrive Community Services, Galesburg. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
