Mr. Robert Brand Obituary

Robert W. Brand, 88, of Galesburg, passed away in his home on May 16, 2021 at 8:50 AM.

Robert was born to John David Sr. and Bessye Aretta (Longcor) Brand on March 15, 1933 in Bushnell Illinois.

Robert was born and raised in Galesburg, Graduating from Galesburg High School in 1951 and continuing his education at Knox College after serving in the military for two years during the Korean conflict. He later in his schooling transferred to Chouinard Art Institute where he would graduate from in 1960. After graduating college. Robert spent 40 long years doing what he loved as an interior designer, even becoming an avid member of the National Society of Interior Designers. And after retiring returned to his home town to spend the rest of his days.

Cremation will be accorded with a burial at a later date. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
