I was saddened with the news of his passing and said a prayer for his family and friends. I knew him from Galesburg Senior High School and graduated with him in 1971. He was always happy and had a smile on his face. Until we meet again.

I played ball with Rob at SIU. He was a senior and I, a freshman. He treated me as an equal from the start. I don't ever remember seeing him without a smile on his face. He made everyone around him feel good. A great guy I'll never forget. My deepest sympathy to his family.
