Mr. Ronald Ray Marquis

Ronald Ray Marquis, 62, formerly of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 6:45 am Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Goldwater Care Center in Roseville, Illinois.

Ronald was born on May 15, 1963, the son of Herbert Edwin and Wanda Ione (McCall) Marquis. He graduated from Galesburg High School. Ronald married Christine Newman, they later divorced

He is survived by his daughter, Renee Marquis of Knoxville, Illinois; his son, Jonathan Ostrander of Galesburg; a sister, Doreen LeGrand and nephew, Jake LeGrand both of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Jordan D. Ostrander, Brent Hendrickson, Charles Thompson and Karisma Marquis and one great grandchild, Malichi Thompson. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Ronald worked construction and concrete with Terry Lamberson for many years.
