Mr. Timothy A. Courson

Mr. Timothy A. Courson, 57, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 7:04 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg.

He was born on December 7, 1967, in Galesburg, Illinois to Frank and Katherine (Sandburg) Courson.

Tim is survived by his son, Nathan Courson of Astoria, Oregon, his brother, Jeff (and Lynne) Cunningham of Olympia, Washington and his stepfather, Bob Blackburn of Joliet, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tim graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Illinois where he was a state wrestler. He then attended Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg. He enjoyed playing music on his keyboard, working with computers and playing video games.
