Obituary
Mr. Wesley Thompson, 63 of Galesburg, died at 4:29 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.
He was born Tuesday, September 1, 1959, in Peoria Illinois, the son of Wilton Wayne and Ruth (Hall) Thompson Jr.
He is survived by his brother, Rodney Thompson of Galesburg; two nieces, Sarah (Dustin) Cook and Teresita (Shane Spencer) Thompson; great niece, Tiffany Spencer; cousin, Dean (Lori) Thompson; and his friends and caretakers from Thompson Place and workshop. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gregory Thompson; and sister, Audrey Thompson.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at Thompson Place. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery next to his folks. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.h-p-w.com.
