Mrs. Bonnie Grimes, 78, of Galesburg, passed away in her assisted living home on Thursday July 1, 2021, at 10:20 P.M.

Bonnie was born to Alonzo and Ruth (Gilbert) Lyon on June 26, 1943 in Moline Illinois. She married Gerald Grimes on April 26, 1986 in Macon Missouri, he survives.

Bonnie is also survived by her brother Russell Lyon of Geneseo, her daughters Tammy Claeys, Teresa Miller, and Lonnie Lyon, her son Douglas Good, her grandchildren Janetee, Bruce, Dougie, Jerimiah, Jamie, Bobbi, Sarah, Issac, Faith, Lukas, and Christin, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded by her brother Joseph Jostein, and her son Tony Good.

Bonnie was born and raised in the Moline area, moving to Galesburg to peruse her passion in caretaking. She was a housekeeper for several long years before becoming a licensed babysitter, and loved to do crafts in her spare time.
