Mrs. Cheryl S. Clark

Mrs. Cheryl S. Clark, 73, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her sons home surrounded by family.

She was born August 14, 1950, in Galesburg to Fred and Jeanette (Binge) Myler. She married Charles L. Clark in 1981 then remarried in 1995 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death March 4, 2015.

Surviving are two sons, Garry L. Fox, Jr. of Galesburg and Sean M. (and Belinda) Fox of Galesburg, four daughters, Helen Keener of Minnesota, Jaime Bromley (and Jim Bob) of Mississippi, Nora Luallen of Illinois, and Etta Martin of Florida, a sister, Sharon Briggs of Galesburg, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Karen Myler, Betty Logsdon, Willa Howard, a grandson Brian Luallen and a great grandson Donald Kise.

Cheryl graduated from Galesburg High School in 1969. She worked as a bus monitor for Hope Head Start and Galesburg School District #205 for approximately 30 years. She Loved her family and her cat Pretty Boy. She was a member of Faith Church of the Nazarene in Galesburg. Cheryl loved spending time with children, the excitement of scratching off lottery tickets, and the personality of the cartoon, Garfield.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 Noon Saturday at the chapel. Dakota Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.
