We are so sorry to hear about Connie’s passing. She was so proud of her family and so dedicated to family history. May the memories you have give you comfort during this difficult time.

I presume that Connie and I are 2nd cousins, since Connie's mother and my father were 1st cousins. Connie took me to  homesteads of Gilbert and Daniel McElroy near Buckeye Church, and then onto Baughman Cemetary to locate a couple of stones {re:Sara & ? McElroy 18??) laying  facedown ...  She offered Some genealogy records on our shared lineage on  her mother's side- I wish I had followed up on her offer- since I'm practically the last of the McElroys, Her inspiration and depth of research was unfathomable and a legacy for her descendants to cherish. 

To Butch and Family,
We are saddened to hear of Connie's passing. She was a great, loving and kind Lady is now at Peace. When Connie was on the bus to pick up our great-grandson when he started school, she was always so kind and Collin loved her very much.... She was so thoughtful and caring! May you all find comfort and Peace in the wonderful memories you all have of her. Just know that you all are in our thoughts and Prayers at this sad time.
