Mrs. Cynthia J. Bolt

Mrs. Cynthia J. Bolt, 80, of London Mills, Illinois died at 2:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 at Lamoine Assisted Living and Memory Care in Macomb.

She was born November 13, 1943 in Canton, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Woolums) Norville. She married Gerald Bolt on June 25, 1961 in London Mills and he preceded her in death on September 11, 2023.

She is survived by three daughters, Tamra Sue (and Steve) Chipman of Good Hope, Illinois; Tina Jo (and Randy) Smith of Maquon, Illinois; Tylana Marie Coop of Prairie City, Illinois, Three brothers, Tom (and Jan) Norville of Knoxville, Illinois; Donald (and Linda) Norville of Maquon, Illinois and Michael (and Carol) Norville of London Mills, Illinois; sister, Beverly (and John) Stuckel of Rapatee, Illinois; grandchildren, Trevor (and Colleen) Edmonson, CeaAnne Brown, Amanda (and Benji) Rahn, Devin Chipman, Darrin Chipman, great grandchildren, Molly Brown, William Edmonson, Audrey Edmonson, Alana Tabb. She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Leon Bolt; brothers, Douglas Allen Norville and Jerry Ray Norville.

Cynthia graduated from Spoon River Valley High School in 1961. She received training and worked as a CNA. She was also a waitress and worked in home healthcare. She was a member of the London Mills Women’s Club, liked to go shopping, reading, eating out, sending cards to people in need, visiting nursing homes and collecting teddy bears. She loved Elvis.

Funeral Service are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel. Chaplain Jordan Knight officiating. Burial is in East Midway Cemetery in London Mills. Memorial may be made to the American Diabetes Association and Alzheimer’s Association.
