I met Eleanor when I joined my husband's real estate company in the late 1980s. I knew nothing about the profession other than what I had learn in a classroom. Eleanor took it from there.
Her style, personality n concern for her clients n everyone else's was amazing. I learned how to succeed because of her. I just listened to her care for others n she showed me the way.
What a dear unique person that we will miss terribly. Our condolences to all the family.

Thinking of your families as you navigate such a big loss. Eleanor was one of my grandmothers (Jody Rescinito) best friends & someone whom we all adored. Wishing you peace & love in every memory.

Gene and I were fortunate to have Eleanor (and Cork) a part of our lives since we can remember. Eleanor, Mary, and Jody were fast friends from church circle days. Eleanor was always kind, always caring, and always showing an interest in our lives both growing up and later as adults with children of our own. It was always a treat to open a card from Eleanor every birthday and every anniversary, and Mary’s grandchildren enjoyed the same while they were growing up. So, Eleanor is fondly remembered by three generations of Petrie’s. Few are lucky to enjoy lifelong, loyal friends such as Eleanor. Mary, Eleanor and Jody were an inseparable “trio” even after Mary moved to Naperville with Amtrak trips to Naperville and weekly three-way phone calls. Eleanor was a treasured friend and will be greatly missed. The Mary Petrie Family
