Mrs. Ethel M. (Tanner) Landon

Mrs. Ethel M. Landon, 78, of Dahinda, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born October 17, 1946, in Victoria, Illinois, the daughter of Amos and Ethel (Weedman) Tanner. Ethel married the love of her life Clyde Landon on May 11, 1969 in Knoxville, Illinois and spent 53 long and loving years together before Clyde preceded her in death in 2022

Ethel is survived by her son, Eric (Rheta) Landon, her brother, Clifford (Connie) Tanner, her sisters, Mary (Tom) Rice, and Shirley Fitchpatrick, and two grandchildren, Aiden and Noah Landon. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, her parents, and her sisters Doris Dunn and Lucille.

Ethel was a devoted mother and housewife, becoming the homemaker for her family. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in her free time, along with reading, watching old movies, and playing solitaire. Ethel most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
