Mrs. Jackie L. Rogers

Mrs. Jackie L. Rogers, 72, of Abingdon, Illinois passed away 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois.

She was born September 25, 1950 in Galesburg, the daughter of Richard and Nylene (Rafferty) Asher. She married Alan Rogers April 16, 1976, in Coldbrook Christian Church.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Alan; two daughters, Tammy (and Frankie) Cordle of Abingdon and Kaylin (and Jesse) Downs of Illinois City; three sons, Danny Joseph Jr. of Florida, Rodney (and Debbie) Joseph of Florida, and Anthony Rogers of Peoria, Illinois; a sister, Mary (and Chuck) Olson of East Galesburg, Illinois; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father, Richard Engstrom, a brother Richard Asher, and a sister Maryann Engstrom.

Jackie was a housewife. She enjoyed visiting with family, crafting and going to the casino. She loved tik-tok, cooking and Mani Pedis with the girls.

A Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m. Saturday October 29, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will take place after visitation.
