Mrs. Linda M. German
Obituary
Mrs. Linda M. German, 73, of Abingdon, Illinois, passed away Tuesday July 25, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
She was born March 10, 1950 in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Hazel (Smith) Woodworth. She married William Scott German June 4, 1999, in Macomb, Illinois and he preceded her in death on April 28, 2023.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Speicker of Florida; grandchildren, Samantha (and Chaise) Walters of Virginia; Delany and Morgen Speicker of Florida; Cody Cramlett of Missouri; and Ashley Walters of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Walters and Harold Walters Jr. and a daughter, Crystal Walters.
Linda was a correctional officer for over 20 years at Henry Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg. She enjoyed watching the series “Walking Dead,” horses and gardening.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held from 12PM to 3PM on Saturday August 26, 2023 at the American Legion in Abingdon, Illinois.
