She was born January 5, 1932, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Orville Emerson and Marchie Francis (Gray) Brooks.  She married Charles Leo Krueger on January 7, 1949, in University City, Missouri.  He preceded her in death February 16, 2012.

She is survived by two sons, William “Bill” (Toni) Krueger of Rio and Robert “Bob” (Brenda) Krueger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, William (Candice), Christopher, and Caroline; three great grandchildren, Dylan (Ashley), Logan, and Steve; a great-great grandson, Evan; and a brother, Amuel Brooks of McCalla, Alabama.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters.

Marchie was a homemaker and minister’s wife.  The family moved frequently with Charles ministry in the Presbyterian Church, finally landing in Rio, where they were members of Rio Presbyterian Church.  Marchie served as the choir director there.  She also was a member of the Rio Women’s Club and the Rio Senior Citizen’s Club.
