Norma “Ralene” Webber, 86, of Galesburg, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in Seminary Manor.
She was born February 18, 1935, in Coffeyville, Kansas, the daughter of William A. and Kathryn H. (Holliday) Atteberry. She married Thomas L. Webber in 1954 in Galesburg.
She is survived by three daughters, Melinda R. Webber (Gary Johnson) of Galesburg, Diana L. (Jim) Westfall of Galesburg, and Julie B. (John) Garcia of Cypress, Texas; seven grandchildren, Sally (Ryan) Harris, Stephanie (Jacob) Duquenne, Emily (Adam) Hensley, Ali Baggott, Jeremy (Samantha) Garcia, Alexis Garcia, and Sienna Garcia; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Beverlie Johnson.
Ralene was reared in Texas and Oklahoma and had been a resident of Galesburg since 1953. She attended schools in Texas and Oklahoma, graduating from Miami, Oklahoma High School in 1953. Ralene worked for Thomas Plumbing and Heating as office manager for 28 years, retiring in 2000.
Ralene was a member of the Galesburg Business Women’s Association, a volunteer at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, and a reading buddy at King Elementary School. She enjoyed bowling and reading. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded. A private family visitation and service will be at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.
