Becky was the first neighbor to welcome us to Abingdon in 2003. She walked across the street, introduced herself, and welcomed us with a fresh loaf of banana bread. We would always wave to each other and have several short chats about my flowers, garden or she would always ask about my daughter who lives out of state. She was a very kind and thoughtful person. May you rest in peace Becky as you join your beloved Bob.

Becky and I traveled to many places and towns, talked about every day on the phone . I became her best friend the summer of 2004 when she approached me and wanted to know my name , such a very dear lady, then i became her boss at the school District for 9 years . Years of good memories I will always cherish. Becky lived life her way and to its fullest . We had a very deep bond even if we were years apart in age , there is no one who could break our bond ,we enjoyed the same things in life and her age never slowed her down . Her job kept her going , always wanted a job in the summer during time off at the School. She loved life very simple . Loved to go out to eat as she did with Bob we continued that legacy til her death. She will always be missed and loved. She is now with Bob the love of her life . I will always have a void in my life without her having to continue her Legacy alone as I promised her I would do. I will see you again my friend. God only takes the best .
