Mrs. Trisha R. (Cameron) Hoots

Mrs. Trisha R. Hoots, 52, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 9:56 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois surrounded by her family. 

She was born May 7, 1972, in Aledo, Illinois to Harold and Lois (Selser) Cameron.  She married Donovan A. Hoots on May 25, 2000, in Monmouth, Illinois. 

Surviving is her husband of 24 years, Donovan Hoots of Galesburg, a son, Brandon (and Melissa) Hathaway of Galesburg, two daughters, Brittany (and Dan) Temple of Galesburg and Jessica (and Dakota) Bugg of Burlington, Iowa, two brothers, Todd (and Michele) Cameron of Keithsburg, Illinois and Terry (and Shelly) Cameron of Alexis, Illinois, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and several “adopted” children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Tom Cameron, and a granddaughter, Kylie Bugg. 

Trisha attended Alexis High School.  She was a loving homemaker to her husband and children.  She attended Keithsburg Christian Church when she was younger.  She was an avid Chicago Bears fan.  She enjoyed shopping not only in stores but online as well.  She also enjoyed pampering herself with a manicure and pedicure.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

As Trisha requested, cremation will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
