Ms. Becky S. Hagerty

Mrs. Becky S. Hagerty, 68, of Hanna City, Illinois formerly of Galesburg, Illinois died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at her home.

She was born August 22, 1956, in Galesburg, Illinois to Roy N. and Erlyne R. “Tootie” Johnson. She married John D. Moore in 1984.

Surviving is a son, Jacob D. Hagerty of Hanna City, a daughter, Cherishma Garza of Galesburg, a brother, Dusty (and Barb) Hagerty of Littleton, Colorado, two sisters, Judy Bramlett of Galesburg and Jill Hagerty of Galesburg, four grandchildren, Cheyenne Malcolm, Cierra Garza, Calyn Garza, and Aurora Hagerty, and two great grandchildren, Raylen Peel and Craig Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Howard Parmenter, and a brother-in-law, Tom Bramlett.

Becky attended ROVA Schools. She worked for Gunther Construction as a Laborer for several years and retired in 1998. She was a member of the Local #538 Laborer’s Union. Becky enjoyed fishing and “Road Tripping” with her sister, Janet.

Cremation will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
