Pamela H. (Gallagher) Nameniuk

Pamela H. Nameniuk, 68, of Puyallup, Washington, formerly of Kewanee, IL, passed away February 27, 2025 at Linden Grove Health Care Center in Puyallup.

Pam was born March 4, 1956 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital the daughter of Edward A. and Lydia Marie (Anderson) Gallagher. Pam married Joseph Nameniuk, August 22, 1995 in Tacoma, Washington.

Pam is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Jo (and Chad) Cullip of Galveston, Texas; a son, Forrest (Nicholle Ortiz) Nameniuk of Portland, Oregon; step daughter, Melissa (and Greg) Neubert of Kewanee, IL; two grandsons, Malachi Correia, U.S. Army and Mason Correia, U.S. Airforce; a granddaughter, Lily Cullip, Galveston, Texas; a sister, Patricia (and Bob) Bengtson of Kewanee, IL; two brothers, Steven (and Jodie) Gallagher of Kewanee, IL and Robert Gallagher of Galesburg, many nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Sharon Kaletsch and four brothers, Michael Gallagher, James Gallagher, Danny Gallagher and Dennis Gallagher.

Pam attended Toulon, West Jersey and Galva schools. She was a stay at home mom. Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and collecting lighthouse decorations. She enjoyed traveling by train, bus or plane or cross country traveling in their orange van making memories with her family. Pam kept a journal of her life. She was an avid Seahawk fan. Pam was a twenty year cancer survivor.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Scott Carnes officiating. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Knox County Humane Society.
