Patricia Lynn Morgan

Mrs. Patricia Lynn Morgan, 62, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 11:35 am, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Patricia was born September 2, 1960, in Peoria, Illinois. She was raised by her grandparents, James and Ruth Evelyn (Cooper) Welsh. She married Michael Morgan, they later divorced.

Patricia is survived by her three sons, Michael Durham and Alex Schaeffer both of Las Vegas, Nevada and Vincent Morgan of Ocala, Florida; her brother, Robert Wilkinson of Galesburg; her sister, Amy Clark of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Nyonni and Jerikko Morgan and her longtime friend, Shelley Sandman of Galesburg. She is preceded in death by two sons.

Patricia was a faithful member of the Church of the Open Bible. She was crafty in the way of sewing and crocheting. Patricia was a wonderful cook and loved to collect recipes. She had her favorite reality shows that she watched, including Judge Judy.

Patricia’s wishes were to be cremated with a Celebration of her Life at a later date. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to offset the funeral cost.
