Paula Irene Wade

Paula I. Wade, 73, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 9:18 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at home.

Paula was born June 8, 1951, in Galesburg, the daughter of Paul and Ruby (Gratton) Wade.

She is survived by two sisters, Freida (and Tim) Woods of East Peoria, Illinois; Kay (and Perry) Coziahr of Cambridge, Illinois; three brothers, John (and Penny) Wade of Galesburg; Bill (and Sheila) Wade of Nashville, Tennessee; Bobby (and Sylvia) Wade of Galesburg; Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and two brothers.

Paula graduated from Galesburg high School in 1970. She worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Galesburg for over 40 years. She enjoyed helping people and her cats and puppies. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A Memorial Service for Paula will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Kingdom Hall in Galesburg; 201 N. Linwood Road. Robin Godsil will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
