Robert C. Johnson

47, 1041 Lancaster St., Galesburg, died at 2:36 pm Friday, November 18, 2005 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. He was born December 10, 1957 in Peoria, IL to JR and Dorothy Jean Lindsey Johnson. He married Jessie Lou Wells in 1978 in Galesburg. She survives. Also surviving are his father of Galesburg, one brother, Loyd Franklin Johnson of Galesburg; one sister, Peggy Lee Pratt of New Cumberland, VA; an aunt, Maxine Mundwiler of Galesburg and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Irvin Johnson. He had lived most of life in Galesburg where he worked for KCCDD as an assembler. He had also worked at a car wash in Peoria. His hobby was constructing model cars. He also enjoyed working on cars. Cremation will be accorded. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Abingdon Cemetery. Eleanor Landon will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
