Robert Lee Howerton

55, of Uniontown, PA., formerly of Abingdon and Galesburg died at 11:45 am Saturday, June 21, 2003 in Washington, PA.. He was born November 27, 1947 in Galesburg to James H. and Gladys F. Jones Howerton. Surviving are two brothers, Ruel (and Joan) Howerton Sr. and Fred (and Donna) Howerton both of Galesburg; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special friend, Carolyn Ciegel of Uniontown. He was preceded in death by his parents. He graduated from Abingdon High School.. He had lived the past five years in Uniontown where he was an independent insurance investigator and prior to that had traveled the United States as a Pentecostal Evangelist. He served in the US Air Force. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West chapel in Abingdon with Eleanor Landon officiating. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery.
