Russell Westfall

Russell Westfall Jr, 71, of Wataga passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at home.

Russell was born on February 16, 1953 to Russell Sr. and Mary (Kunkle) Westfall in Galesburg.

He is survived by a daughter, Brandy Westfall of Pekin, Illinois; 3 Grandchildren; and a sister, Marlene (Randy) Schoonover of Rushville, Illinois. Russell is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger Lee Westfall; a granddaughter, Madison; and Russell’s significant other, Vicki Smith.

Russell worked at Maytag for over 30 years as a Fork Lift Operator before retiring. In his leisure time, Russell loved to spend time outdoors. He often enjoyed hunting for animals and mushrooms or fishing. Russell also loved helping out his fellow neighbors in Wataga.
