Sandra L. (Wick) Hartman

Mrs. Sandra “Sandi” L. Hartman, 75, passed away at 10:53 am Thursday, November 17, 2022, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Sandi was born March 8, 1947, the daughter of Roy E. and Marion (Blixt) Wick. She married Richard Hartman on August 13, 1967, in Galesburg.

Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Richard; her son-in-law, Eric Evans of Altona, Illinois and her two grandchildren, Michael Fraser of Galesburg and Taylor (Eli) Beinke of Arlington, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Tammy Evans on January 7, 2017.

Sandi graduated from Galesburg High School in 1965. She went on to work for Osco Drug, Brown and Scott Department Store and Kline’s Department Store all formerly located in downtown Galesburg. She also worked for Hoerr Nursery in Galesburg and Peoria. She was of the Methodist faith.

Sandi had a love for crafting, specifically with beads making bracelets. She enjoyed playing cards, including Tripoley and Rummy with her friends and family. She played any card game that had an ante and would take your money!  Sandi also enjoyed gardening and decorating her garden with fairies.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will follow services. Memorials may be given to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
