69, of 528 Commercial Drive died at 7:00 am Friday, December 17, 2004 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. She was born on March 12, 1935 in Polk County, Arkansas to Roy and Lois Isbel Freeman. She married Kenneth L. Morrison on August 18, 1972 in Lewistown, IL. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, Junior Freeman and one grandson, Donnie Taflinger, Jr. Surviving are one daughter, Teressa (and Donnie) Taflinger of Abingdon; three sons, Rod (and Doris Kay) Williams, Tom (and Debbi) Williams both of Abingdon and Mark Williams in Florida; a stepdaughter, Sue (and Don) Craig of RR Abingdon; two stepsons, Jim (and Chris) Morrison of Collinsville and Kenneth "Dooley" ( and Marcia) Morrison of Burlington, WI; four sisters, Dorothy Duvall and Louise (and Billy) Bowman both of Russellville, AR, Irene (and Fred) Goats of Buck Mountain, AR, Barbara (and Charlie) Townsend of Paris, AR; two brothers, Bill Freeman and Wayne Freeman both of Buck Mountain, AR; 7 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She had lived in the Berwick and Abingdon areas most of her adult life. She worked at Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg from May of 1976 until retiring in January of 2002. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Harry E. Wiles American Legion Post #381 Auxiliary and the Grandmothers Club. Services will be at 11:00 am Monday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Abingdon. Rev. Fred Goats will officiate. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the Abingdon First Responders or the American Legion Post Auxiliary.
