Winifred M. "Winnie" Anderson

72 of 110 S. McClure St., Abingdon formerly of Pekin died at 1:20 pm Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Marigold Health Care Center in Galesburg. She was born on October 14, 1932 in Myrtle Point, OR to August and Mae Everett Wendland. She married Lawrence Anderson on May 11, 1956 in Pekin. He survives. Also surviving are one son, James Anderson of Abingdon; one daughter, Terri (and Derek) Kisler of Galesburg; two sisters, Shirley Wendland and Maureen Bushong of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons and one sister, Patricia Tutwiler. She graduated from Pekin High School. She worked at Formfit Mfg. of Monmouth and at the K-Mart and Walmart Stores in Galesburg and at the former Abingdon Industries. Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Abingdon. Eleanor Landon will officiate. Friends may call one hour before the service on Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in the Abingdon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
