Zachary I. Milks

23 of 408 W. Adams St. died at 8:55 pm Monday, November 26, 2007 in the 700 Block of Illinois State Route 116, Knox County, IL. He was born on September 9, 1984 at Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois to Christopher and Ruth DeRudder Milks. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving is his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Steve Smith of Abingdon; two sisters, Jennifer (and Kevin) Brown and three nieces of Abingdon, Jina Milks of Abingdon; his maternal grandmother, Joan DeRudder of Bushnell; two stepbrothers, Colter Smith of Abingdon and Eric Burris of Portland, OR; two stepsisters, Stephanie Smith of Arlington Heights, IL and Melissa Smith of Lisle, IL. Zachary attended Pekin High School and later received his diploma in Galesburg, IL. He was currently attending Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg where he was beginning studies to become a Chiropractor. He most recently worked at Dominos Pizza in Galesburg. He had attended the New Beginnings Fellowship in Oswego. He loved to ride motorcycles and be with his family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel, 206 N. Washington St., Abingdon, IL. Pastor Tom DeVore of New Beginnings Fellowship in Batavia, IL will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. .
