I got to know Louie while working at Ingersoll Scout Reservation. Louie was always ready to help out with all kinds of projects at the camp. He was an enthusiastic man, and I always enjoyed seeing Louie come into camp. His smile was infectious. He and Shirley were both such nice people. I haven't seen Louie in years, but I will miss him.

Louie was our neighbor while I was growing up. He would help my Dad with various farming issues. He always was ready to lend a helping hand and a great neighbor. He allowed my family to go mushroom hunting in the woods north of our house, I remember he always put up a Christmas tree (lit) on top of his Harvestore Silo! We moved away in 1969 and kind of lost touch with him, then he married Shirley who went to the same church and re connected. Our family always thought a lot of him and Dad especially (Howard Pruett.
